Placement Director
The Placement Director will lead the university’s placement initiatives, establish strong relationships with recruiters, and ensure students receive the best career opportunities. This role requires strategic planning, employer engagement, and student career development to achieve high placement rates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance placement opportunities for students.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industries, companies, and recruiters across various sectors.
- Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and networking events.
- Collaborate with academic departments to align placement activities with curriculum and career aspirations.
- Guide students in career planning, resume building, and interview preparation.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of students, alumni, and recruiters.
- Analyze job market trends to forecast future placement opportunities.
- Represent the university at industry events and career expos.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in placement, career services, corporate relations, or recruitment.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and employer expectations.
- Ability to build strong networks with recruiters and corporate leaders.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in handling multiple tasks and organizing large-scale events.
